Content Strategy + Partnership Management + Creative Direction

Summary

For the 2024 NYC Marathon, we were looking to activate the UA brand through the experience of our athletes, run crews, and influencers, against this key run moment with social-first content that engaged our community on social. Marathons aren’t all breaking records and foil blankets; they’re a weekend-long party for runners. Our goal was to speak to the festivities as a celebration of all things running and the community coming together:

1. Promote and celebrate UA Pro Runner and former NYC Marathon champion, Sharon Lokedi

2. Bring together endemic media partners for an intimate pasta-making experience before race day where they participated in a Q&A with Sharon and UA Ambassador Victoria Brown

3. Share the energy we brought to the streets of New York on race day with our branded Cheer Zone
